Behold! You hit the nail on its head!

Dear authors of "The Common Core: Educational Redeemer or Rainmaker?" Your commentary puts my own assessment of schooling in this country into scholarly discourse. I have told many of my colleagues that EDUCATION IS A HUSTLER'S PARADISE. CCSS is presented as type of Jesus for the school system, while the promoters of CCSS stand to benefit financially from CCSS. Similarly, when NCLB was signed, it didn't take long for some to recognize NCLB as "the education consultant's full employment act," and as a profit generator for the testing industry. Finally, there is an important group of stakeholders missing from these discussions, and that would be the teachers.

In the Bible, Jesus tells us, “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves (Matthew 7:15).

Thank you for your commentary.
