good analogy

Thanks for posing a valid comparison between the command and control experienced through our governmental regime of the past to the present. A mind is a terrible thing to waste. Our educational system only has one shot per kid to craft leaned scholars. I shuddered as I observed little kindergartners taking a pen and paper test under the scrutiny of their teacher in one of my district's classrooms. This is far too early to indoctrinate these youngsters into the competitive testing environment in American schools. No wonder that the home schooling movement is growing.
