When will educators take reponsibilty

Posted By: Y. M. Madyun on April 11, 2008

Here's a new pradigm: How about if students "fail" it is an indicator of the educator's competemce around, curriculum, process, environment, etc. When multiple students have to retake a course, it makes sense that the problem may lie with the educator. We've got it backwards in this field. I've heard teachers boast about how challenging their courses are-- how many students are unable to pass their classes. This tome is an indicator of how many students an educator lacks the competence to teach. If an educator can not teach "every" student, the that educator has not masteed the craft.
