Time flies. Educaational research stands still.

This study was published in 2006. But it's still timely because nothing has happened in the interim to build on the findings. This holds for the great bulk of our educational research "literature." If the publication dates were removed, it would be very difficult to reconstruct a chronology. One shot snapshots don't a science make.
