Why was it not replicated elsewhere by Dewey or anyone else? Why is the author not replicating the operation? How and when does the author expect ANYONE to implement any of her recommendations?
I don't think there are answers to these questions, and in the absence thereof of, it's an empty look back on an ephemeral happening that begs the question of present teachers, students, and citizenry.
