Observations from a candidate

|My greatest complaint is the lack of feedback for candidates who have not yet reached certification. The board will tell you as part of the re-take process to have someone else read your entry. Unless he or she was an assessor how valid can that commentary be.|
As to his point that all certified teachers have doctorates, as my high-school students would say, get a life. How does a doctorate prepare you for teaching at the high-school level? The handful of teachers I know who have doctorates, with a few exceptions are in magnet schools or administration. They are rarely in the trenches with the rest of us.
