All the way through the article there are mistakes.
The dash is rplaced by the 3/4 symbol.
One sentence seeks to alarm us with the news that math teachers are not trained in history.
The nit-picking attitude that there are no shortages, just shortages of subject area trained teachers is disingenuous.
The actual news in the articleis saved for the penultimate paragraph, when it could have been the theme of the piece.

This looks like a poor response to a homework assignment.
