Assessing Information and Communication Technologies

|In Alberta, Canada we are currently looking at the assessment of ICT as is infused within a standard curriculum. For example, if a student were completing a provincial exam in English Language Arts, they might first watch a digital video clip and then create a compostion based on the visual stimulus.|
Does anyone have any other examples, information or suggestions on the assessment of ICT as it applies to the transformative nature of technology on learning and teaching?
