College News and Departmental Notes: Scouting

In order to increase the efficiency of the Boy Scouts of America and help win the war, Teachers College in cooperation with the Department of Education of the Boy Scouts of America, the Manhattan Council, and other councils in and near New York has conducted nine meetings in Scouting. Six of these meetings were on consecutive Thursday evenings, from eight to ten o'clock, beginning March 7, 1918, in the Thompson Gymnasium, Teachers College. The three other meetings were hikes starting from the gymnasium Saturday afternoons at two o'clock.
