College News and Departmental Notes: The Secondary Club

On January 18, the Secondary Club had the privilege of listening to an address by Dr. Abraham Flexner, of the General Education Board. The speaker was introduced by Professor Sachs, who also made a few remarks. Although Dr. Flexner did not emphasize the problems incident to the new experimental school, for the success of which he will cooperate with Teachers College through the General Education Board, he gave a very timely address on modern secondary education.
