The psychologist does not share his interest in thinking with the educator alone. The scientist, the mathematician, and the linguist have also begun to inquire into the nature of children's thinking, looking for evidence that children can think effectively. They are concerned that the school equip its graduates to deal more adequately with the complexities of a changing world.
