Green Teaching: The Impact of No Child Left Inside

The recent approval of the No Child Left Inside (NCLI) act is beginning to generate numerous discussions about environmental science education in the elementary school classroom. As such, this commentary will discuss the benefits environmental education can have on the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional growth of children. In addition, the author will also discuss the impact NCLI may have on the teaching and learning of science in our elementary classrooms.
