TEACHING WHOLESOME LIVING, a book for parents, principals and teachers, is in reality a revision of the course of study in wholesome living used in the Los Angeles, California, City Schools since 1923. The book is divided into three divisions; the first one dealing with the point of view, the second with general considerations and points of emphasis in the curriculum, and the third with specific phases of the curriculum. A supplement of eight pages gives a brief philosophical treatment of the matter of the psychological concept of "wholeness." In reality, the book is a very readable set of suggestions for the use of health materials in the unified curriculum of the elementary school.
