Of particular concern is the violent behavior of children, which leaves families torn, schools in chaos, and fear in the hearts of the very people who need to resist the violence. Unfortunately, many parents have been led to believe that violence is a child’s inevitable response to trauma and deprivation and that parental resistance to it could be psychologically damaging. Many choose to compensate them instead, which ultimately leads to an escalation of the violence.
