Where's the research in Gurian's work?

Posted By: Robyn Carlson on November 21, 2008
Would someone please tell me where the research is in Gurian's work? What evidence beyond anecdotal does he offer? Saying boys learn this way and girls learn this way serves no purpose other than taking us back to the dark ages. It often times reinforces stereotypes in ways that are dangerous to both sexes. There are benefits to single-gendered education, but its not because boys and girls learn 'differently'.
