|Having know of all-too-many school districts that moved to drill-and-kill instead of working towards intelligent strategies for teaching change, I find the sense-making construct seems to offer a rationale for what I have observed. Hopefully, the book will give me insights into how to work effectively with school districts to move them towards productive implementation of standards and meaningful ways (that are also instructive) of preparing for state tests. |
