Read a Post | | Reply to this Post | | Effective discussion boards in online education | Posted By: Janet Smith on June 24, 2003 | | I am doing some research on the effectiveness of the design of instructional discussion/bulletin boards in online learning. There are a variety of articles that talk about what facilitators should do and what students should do, but I haven't been able to find any information about how the actual design of the board can affect learning or even just use of the BB.
Does anyone have any thoughts or articles that they can point me to? Thanks in advance...
