Mentoring

Posted By: Gloria Miller on April 15, 2003

Hello Bill,

I am a graduate student at Stanford and my research project involves observing teachers in coaching/mentoring relationships. I am interested in your thoughts about the types of areas that you named as sharing expertise.

Can you name more? You mentioned, questioning, classroom management, lesson plan building, and material selection. What are other areas that you have shared your expertise in and can you give me a couple of examples of non-threatening expertise?

Thanks very much.
Sincerely,
Gloria I. Miller
