Alternative Teacher Certification

This is in response to Emily Spann's email about her dissertation comparing secondary principals' perceptions of teachers, alternatively and traditionally certified. The research in teacher education is continually criticized for lacking robustness in making its points. There is a cry for evidence, particularly as it relates to student achievement. If there is any way you can triangulate principals' perceptions, type of teacher certification, and student achievement, it would add to the research. Just a thought.... |
