Alternative Certification

I have a BS - Mechanical Engineering
I am working on a Master of Education - Instructional Technology through Troy State University - Augusta GA.
I plan to take the first availalbe early retirement.
I plan to teach high school science and/or math as well as adjunct teaching in local colleges.
I believe there is an untapped wealth of resources like myself that want to teach. However, they do not want to go through the buraucratic process.
