Pro's -vs- Con's of Standardized Testing

I am a secondary education major. Our instructor is wanting us to hold a debate on the pro's and con's of Standardize Testing. I am in a group that is for the pro side of the argument. Does anyone have any suggestions or possible links to some good arguments? Thanks, Brad Cobb
