Posted By: Floyd Hammack on December 7, 2010

"When referencing the social silence [?] surrounding class stratification, the author retroflexes to nineteenth century theorists Max Weber and Pierre Bourdieu to construct a framework for discussing social class as part of identity formation.'" Weber died in 1920, spanning the 19th and 20th century. Bourdieu lived from 1930 to 2002, spanning the 20th and 21st centuries.
