|Since the book Flow has been in print for 19 years it is interesting how little the concept has been applied to education. The process of flow is very similar to a learning process or a planning process, both of which are essential processes of education still rarely explicitly taught. Life-long learners are people who engage in flow regularly. |
We ignore such basic research about flow at our peril...while we focus on our NCLB scores which provide less valuable evidence of the results of teaching to very narrowly focused paper and pencil tests.
