Both. Yale grad, Harvard Business School, two-time Texas governor, countless TV appearances and speeches which went well . . . sure, he's made a lot of gaffes, too, but probably no more than any of us make every day. It's just that ours are not made within the glare of the spotlights and within "earshot" of countless microphones.

I don't think you can fake intelligence and horse sense through all of that, though, and I still admire him a whole lot.

It makes me sad to see so many people in education ridiculing our President in front of impressionable young children. Hmm, wonder why there's no respect for authority and accomplishment in public schools?
