What I have tried to get through in this exchange is that this democracy does not and should not connect writing ability to the right to express one's views. You seem to think that any opinion that cannot be expressed in perfect literary style is not an opinion worth considering. That is arrogant and elitist. Furthermore, it appears that the original poster's comment would have been better received, warts and all, had it said Palin was well qualified to be the president of the United States. Add a little hypocracy to the mix. |
