The lectures were based on the social and historical periods of the bible. In order to undertand the literature, the historical/biographical approaches were presented which gave students a clear and more precise understanding of the period. Likewise, the social context and setting were also explained to the students which made the literature realistic and understandable. In the courses, religion was taught in a social, historical, and biographical realm. |
