The issue is not one of convincing the other who is right. That is your complete focus. If a person won't come to your point of view than you want to isolate yourself from them as if their ideas will eventually harm you. Be strong, learn to live with others who are different then you. You might even come to appreciate it some day. Standing beside a gay person is not going to infect you or your child with a communicable disease. Why are you so intent on changing that person to your viewpoint?
