Read a Post for Why I Required My Students to Vote

A bit harsh but I do understand

I do agree with most of what you have suggested. I feel that it is not the right of the professor to impose personal views on his/her students. To force ones students to vote because you simply have an agenda is perhaps a very sad thing. I see a parallel between Professor Skaggs and several stars who feel that it is their duty to go against the government, they are very vocal about who to vote, most times they feel the general public does not have a mind of it own so they have to tell who to vote for.
I personally would not ask my students to vote and make this part of my course requirement.
