Similar, there is a book called Brain-Based Learning by Eric Jensen published in 2000 by The Brain Store in San Diego California.

Jesen describes the optimal qualities of the most successful learning based on how the Human Brain works.

He discusses optimal environments, including lighting, sound,
colors. Some of the other topics include: the five optimal stages of learning, diversity, consistency, credibility, learning styles, stress management, feedback, and assessment, communication styles, planning for and using technology in the classroom
