Here in Hong Kong, even adults are rather confused, and somewhat lost in the debates about the War, let alone children. We educators have the responsibility of helping them to understand and analyze what is happening, albeit not necessarily guiding them into particular conclusions. Children would one day blame us for either leaving them in the dark and confusion, or putting them into reoccupations.
I would like to know very much how educators in US are preparing the younger generation for the War, and what kinds of conceptual frameworks are emerging. The historical burden is on us, I am afraid.
