Metacognition and Study Skills

Posted By: Maria Anaya on September 27, 2003
I too have been fascinated by the term "metacognition" and the fact that so many of the educators I work with have no idea what it means or refers to. I am so looking forward to your posted information related to metacognition and study skills. The teachers I work with seem to think that elementary school children need not be burdened with the knowledge of how they learn or be aware of what it is that they are learning. Hope to see the information soon.
