Geography in the Horace Mann Schools: Editorial Note

by James E. Russell - 1901

The publication of a comprehensive outline of a course of study, such as is given in the current number of the RECORD, has-a distinct value in presenting to teachers a general survey of the field. It shows more clearly than can be shown in any other way the relations existing between the various stages of a school course; it gives a setting for the work of each teacher and each grade. As a teachers' guide, therefore, if for no other reason, it is worth while to do such a piece of work.
