Traits Characteristic of Men Majoring in Physical Education at the Pennsylvania State College

The purpose of this study was to find out (1) what qualities and characteristic traits are manifested by Physical Education majors, and (2) whether the traits possessed by this group are similar to those found among majors in Education and other groups of students (preparing for professions other than teaching), in order that educators may direct into the teaching field those students who exhibit the qualities essential to this profession and may discourage those whose success is doubtful.
