Results of Planning for Home Economics Education in the Southern States

The Smith-Hughes Act requires that each state desiring reimbursement for a program organized under the Act shall submit a detailed plan for its development. At the end of each year detailed reports regarding the development of the program are required from the state. This study is based upon an analysis of a series of five plans submitted during a fifteen-year period, together with an analysis of detailed reports submitted at the end of each five-year period.
