Among the recent appointments of former students to important posts is that of Elizabeth Burgess to the inspectorship of training schools for nurses for the State of New York. Miss Burgess brings sound training and varied experience to her new task, having held successively the positions of instructor in St. Luke's and in Bellevue Training School, and later of principal of the School of Nursing and superintendent of the Michael Reese Hospital, Chicago.
