The Y. M. C. A. to-day in college does not limit its efforts exclusively to moral and religious teaching but rather seeks in addition to develop an intellectual interest in the main aspects of the general problem of social adjustment. Thus not only does it strive to encourage an interest in religious problems but it seeks to cultivate Christian fellowship and Christian responsibilities—to promote intelligent human brotherhood. The Y. M. C. A. of Teachers College is not a mere school organization or a narrow professional activity; rather it is a group of men linked together by a common interest in human welfare.
