Doctor of Education Project Reports: A Design for Nursing in New York State

This study attempts to answer the question concerning New York State's need for State University facilities for basic professional nurse education through the analysis of three subquestions set by the Commission: Are the facilities for basic professional nurse education in the state adequate to prepare the numbers needed? Is the quality of education offered nurses satisfactory? Is there evidence that the preparation of nurses should be modified?
