The Lippincott Company has published for Professor Jean Broadhurst a little book of health for children under the title All Through the Day the Mother Goose Way. Two advanced students in the department of biology will present at the next meeting of the Society of American Bacteriologists preliminary papers on practical problems worked out under the direction of Professor Broadhurst. Miss Jane Williamson, assistant in the department since February, 1920, has been awarded a Carnegie research scholarship for the current year, and has returned to Scotland to continue her bacteriological investigations of food fishes.
