College News and Departmental Notes: Educational Administration

by Departmental notes - 1922

Dr. George D. Strayer, director of the division of field studies of the Institute of Educational Research of Teachers College, has signed the contracts for a survey of the schools of Stamford, Conn., to be conducted during the present school year. Stamford is a city of 40,000 people. This survey will be a thorough-going and complete study of the entire school system in which the faculty and students of many of the departments of the College will cooperate. Field work has already begun and will continue during the winter months. The final report will be available about the first of April.
