An extension course in scouting is being given under the auspices of Teachers College for the Boy Scout Council of Bridgeport, Conn. The course began Tuesday evening, March 15, with fifty scoutmasters in attendance. A unique feature is that, according to the general plan, the scout troop committeemen are paying the tuition of the scoutmaster of their troop. So far as is known, this is the first time that a college extension course in scouting has ever been given with regular college credit.
