Professor Arthur W. Dow spent his summer in Ipswich, Conn., where he was occupied in painting landscape and in designing wood-block prints. He has completed several large canvasses of New England marsh landscape, and has engraved four wood blocks for color printing. He spent about ten days at Teachers College during the summer session, at which time he lectured on art appreciation.
