by Departmental notes - 1920

Williams, formerly of the Bureau of Chemistry and now with the Western Electric Company, Professor McKee of Columbia, and Professor Eddy are cooperating in research work in the chemical nature of vitamines, which will be actively pursued during the present year. Through the generous interest of Dean Russell, Miss Helen Stevenson has been given an opportunity to continue the research work in vitamines which was begun last year. The work then dealt especially with a new test for vitamine content. The results of the research appeared in the proceedings of the Society for Experimental Biology and Medicine, and also in the August number of the Journal of Biological Chemistry.
