Dr. Thorndike is one of the board of five psychologists working for the National Research Council on the improvement of group tests of intelligence for use in the elementary schools. Through the cooperation of Mr. Pearson, Grades 5,6, and 7 of the Horace Mann School were used in a preliminary tryout of certain parts of the prospective examinations.
