College News and Departmenal Notes: Lower Primary Education

Miss Margaret Quilliard, who has been studying at Teachers College for two years and who has had charge of the work with the Horace Mann Parents' Association, has been appointed supervisor of work with parents in the public schools of Duluth, Minnesota. So far as known this is the first time that a teacher trained for such work as this has been appointed in a public school system and paid with public money.
