College News and Departmental Notes: Teachers College Record to Aid in National Movement for Food Conservation

by Departmental notes - 1917

In response to a request from the United States Food Administration at Washington, D. C., the RECORD, together with a number of the leading educational journals of the country, will each issue present to its readers information of importance concerning the food conservation program now being initiated by the National Government. Accordingly, the following bulletin, which is of especial interest to all teachers, is here printed. Attention is also directed to the article on the preceding page in which is given an account of the work of Professor Benjamin R. Andrews, of the department of household arts, Teachers College, who is now engaged in research for the Food Administration.
