On Education in Both Americas

by Luis Alberto Sanchez - 1963

The author lived for several years in various parts of the United States, especially in Puerto Rico, at whose university he served for three years, and he have traveled over almost all of Latin America. What follows is the fruit of these wanderings and the discussions they have made possible. The author does not pretend to treat the subject comprehensively or to give an exact version of its inner structure. But perhaps we may consider some issues that are infrequently examined by the commentators who are accustomed to be either the rabid enemies or the unconditional admirers of the United States.
