    JOSEPH C. RUMENAPP, Ph.D., is an associate professor of Literacy at St. Johnís University. His research interests include language ideologies in multilingual classrooms and the use of action research in teacher education. He teaches courses on educational research methods, language and linguistics, and foundations of literacy research. He is a community engaged research and serves on the board of Project Education Plus, a community education organization.
