    ELIZABETH KENYON, Ph.D., is an assistant professor of social studies education at Kent State University. Her research interests include global citizenship education, democratic citizenship education, and anti-racism in teacher education. She is currently working on a project that centers the experiences and voices of pre-service teachers in discussing racism in their course work as well as an action research project on addressing global citizenship education in teacher education courses.
