    MARYILYN HILLARIOUS (EdD in Curriculum and Instruction, MA in International Education, The George Washington University) is an independent scholar in the field of curriculum theory, teacher education, and critical perspectives in international education. Her research focuses on psychoanalytic perspectives of teaching and learning and its intersections with globalization, neoliberalism, curriculum, and education technology. She has served as adjunct faculty in the Secondary Education program at the George Washington University. Her dissertation research explored U.S. high school students' engagement in online learning contexts using feminist, poststructuralist and psychoanalytic perspectives.
