The Changing Home

by Otto Klineberg - 1938

THIS BOOK is described in the Preface as "primarily a source book to be used in the study of the changing form of the family and the contemporary trends in social life" ; it is designed for independent use in colleges and universities, and intended also as background material for Society and Family Life, previously issued by the Commission on Human Relations. It should serve both these purposes, but it is in addition an extremely readable volume, with excerpts chosen from an unusually wide variety of sources and containing information of genuine interest and value for teachers and students.
